Super Flex is a composite rope that blends high-tenacity polypropylene and polyester fibres. It floats, offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and rot, and provides lower elongation with good creep resistance.
Super Flex is manufactured from a combination of polypropylene and polyester fibres, producing a rope that excels in marine applications. Polypropylene delivers good creep strength and buoyancy, while the polyester component dissipates heat and adds toughness. The polyester cover also protects against acids, alkalis, rot and mildew, giving the rope a long service life. Super Flex features excellent anti-abrasion properties, lower elongation and high UV resistance and, importantly, it floats on water.
These qualities make it a multi-purpose rope well suited to industrial and commercial mooring, pot ropes and general marine use. It’s available in 3-, 8- and 12-strand constructions.
