Polyethylene rope is a low-cost, lightweight rope that floats and resists rot and chemicals. It’s widely used for general-purpose, agricultural and marine applications.
Manufactured from polyethylene fibres, this rope is buoyant, easy to handle and cost-effective, making it popular for a wide range of everyday uses. It resists rot, mildew and most chemicals, and performs reliably in wet conditions. While not as strong or durable as Polysteel or Polyrene, it is highly economical and serves well in agriculture, packaging, light marine tasks and general-purpose applications.
Its bright colours aid visibility, and its floating properties make it safe for use around water.
