A high grip, shock-absorbing fast rope engineered for rapid insertion and extraction. Built from a Nylon/Acrylic blend with an 8-strand construction, it delivers exceptional handling, grip, and durability for military and special operations teams worldwide.
Developed in collaboration with military and special forces units, the Southern Ropes Tactical Fast Rope provides the perfect balance of strength, grip, and flexibility for rapid helicopter deployment and extraction.
Its unique 8-strand knobbly construction and staple-spun fibre blend offer outstanding hand grip, even in wet, oily, or sandy conditions. The Nylon/Acrylic fibre combination provides shock absorption, abrasion resistance, and improved control during descent.
Each rope is supplied ready to use with a terminal eye for mounting and a whipped end at the base. Customers can choose between a Covered Soft Eye or the Stealth Sky Hook terminal, depending on mission requirements. Optional Stealth Fibre® UHMwPE extraction loops can be spliced into the rope to support rapid insertion and extraction of fully loaded operators.
