GP Braid is a high-performance double-braid rope featuring a HMPE core with a durable polyester cover. Lightweight and ultra-low stretch, it’s built for sheets, halyards and control lines.
For sailors and industrial users who need strength without weight, GP Braid delivers. It starts with a solution-dyed HMPE core that provides exceptional tensile strength and resists UV degradation. A high-tenacity polyester cover protects the core from abrasion and can be stripped to reduce weight while still maintaining strength. This rope offers ultra-low stretch and low creep, making it perfect for sheets, halyards, control lines, guys, runner tails and reefing lines.
