Polysteel is a tough, lightweight rope that floats and offers excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals and UV. A durable alternative to polypropylene, it combines high strength, low weight and easy handling, making it ideal for marine and industrial use.
Manufactured from high-tenacity copolymer fibres, Polysteel provides superior strength and service life compared to standard polypropylene ropes while remaining lighter than polyester. Available in 3-strand, 8-strand and 12-strand constructions, it delivers excellent grip, spliceability and abrasion resistance.
Polysteel resists UV, rot, oil and most chemicals, and its buoyancy makes it safe to handle at sea.
Commonly used for mooring lines, towing, trawl warps, fishing gear and industrial hawsers, Polysteel is a dependable, low-maintenance rope trusted across marine and commercial industries.
