Tec-12 is a 12-strand Technora® rope that combines high strength with extreme heat and abrasion resistance. Designed for rigging, stunt work and static lines, it has very low stretch and creep and withstands temperatures that would melt other fibres.
For tasks where heat and friction are intense, Tec-12 delivers. This rope uses Technora®, an aramid fibre known for its high decomposition temperature (around 500 °C) and outstanding resistance to abrasion and chemicals. The heat-set 12-strand single-braid construction provides a high strength-to-weight ratio and very low elongation, ensuring stability under load. Tec-12 is perfect for stunt rigging, camera ziplines, static descent lines and other applications where low stretch and high heat tolerance are critical.
Its hydrophobic nature keeps weight down when wet, and an abrasion-resistant coating helps maintain performance over time. If your work demands a rope that can handle high temperatures and hard wear without missing a beat, Tec-12 is up to the challenge.
